Ever since I first read about E3 in a UK magazine called Gamesmaster I have always loved reading about this event. Back then I would have to wait weeks to find out about the latest games and hardware. Of course these days thanks to the internet, we pretty much know what has happened at E3 as soon as it has been revealed. Many people are seeing this as perhaps the last E3 that is going to focus on the Xbox 360. Microsoft have said repeatedly that this years E3 will not have any Next Xbox information. However there is a ton of cool stuff that is going to be shown at E3, and I am sure that they have more than a few surprises up there sleeves also.

Gears of War Judgement is what I think I am most looking forward to, I have wondered ever since I stopped the Locus threat last year what would be next for the Gear of War series. I thought we would have to wait until the Next Xbox to find this out, but it turns out we will get to play a new Gears of War game on our current Xbox 360’s with this amazing looking prequel. E3 is going to give us a whole bunch of news about this highly anticipated title. Gears of War is no doubt one of the flagship franchises of the Xbox, and its looking like the trend is certainly going to continue.

Of course Halo 4 we all know about, but it has been said that we will be finding out some more information at E3. I am not really sure what exactly to expect from Halo 4 at E3 to be honest. As we actually have had a ton of info already. One thing I am looking forward to reading about in regards to Halo 4 is the hands on feedback from gamers who have been lucky enough to get to play this.

One thing that I am equally excited and nervous about is the Metal Gear Solid spin off Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. This looks like it is going to be an all out action game, and so far we really have not had a ton of info about this. So I am very interested to see how this game is coming along. Its a strange on as on one hand it looks great, but on the other I am a little worried that it may not live up to my high expectations of the Metal Gear Solid series.

One game that just recently has started to give us more information is the reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise. This looks amazing, it clearly looks like they have taken a few ideas from the Uncharted series, but that really is not a bad thing now is it. Despite looking amazing a game like this for me is all about control, and it is for this reason I am on the fence about this game. I think when they rebooted Tomb Raider last time with Tomb Raider Legend they did a fantastic job. So I am very curious to see if they can live up to that. Like I said graphically this game looks amazing, but I want to see some real game play footage of it at E3.

One game I am very excited and surprised about is Dead Space 3. I love the Dead Space series, and I was a little worried that I would have to wait until next generation to play the next instalment. However the last week or so we have had a few screen shots teasing us about Dead Space 3. Only a few little details have appeared so far. Like we know it is going to be a co-op game this time around. At E3 EA are going to be revealing much more information about this.

E3 is something that I think all gamers look forward to, and truth be told it would be impossible for me to write about every single game I am interested in just in one article. You also have to remember that E3 is often known to have surprises for us, so who know despite the denial perhaps Microsoft will give us just a little info on there Next Xbox.
